Madera Mechanical was incorporated by the three principals in June of 1983. The first year of business was contracted as a closed or union shop. As of July 1, 1984, Madera Mechanical elected to become merit or open shop and has continued to operate as an open shop. The corporation has contracted for over 105 million dollars of work in Arizona and Nevada with numerous General Contractors. All contracts have been completed on time using craftsmen skilled in their work. Madera Mechanical has earned many repeat contracts because of its ability to perform as required. In 1992, Madera Mechanical expanded into Fire Protection and has continued to grow in this area. In 1997 Madera began procuring work in Las Vegas, Nevada and relocating some key employees to Nevada. This division has grown significantly in the nine years we have been there. In 2002, Madera Mechanical obtained licensing to furnish and install HVAC. We purchased over $250,000 worth of HVAC fabrication equipment and set up a large, modern and efficient sheet metal fabrication shop adjacent to our fire sprinkler shop. Our HVAC fittings are laid out and cut by a state of the art computer controlled plasma cutter. All of our divisions have AutoCAD capability and our estimating and design build departments utilize the latest versions of software on their computers for project design and estimating. We are proficient and specialize in design build projects. We offer a complete mechanical design, budget, and installation for our clients. Our customers and project owners prefer to have one qualified contractor perform the fire protection system, HVAC, and plumbing installations from the design stage until occupancy by the owner. Madera Mechanical is a member of the Alliance of Construction Trades, the Arizona PHCC and the Nevada PHCC. We are involved in and committed to apprenticeship training for all our trades in both states. These certified apprenticeship programs, along with the on-the-job training obtained from our skilled journeyman craftsmen, will insure that our work force can continue to grow and perform using qualified personnel.
